This Privacy Policy explains how AG Truck & Trailer Rental ("AG", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects the information submitted through our online rental application and this website.

1. Information we collect

When you apply, we collect the information you enter and the documents you upload:

• Company details: legal name, USDOT number, MC number, Employer Identification Number (EIN), business address, and Articles of Incorporation or Organization.
• Owner details: the owner's full name, phone number, email address and a copy of the owner's driver's license.
• Your rental request: the types and number of trucks and trailers you need and your preferred pickup date.

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. We use it to keep the site running and secure. This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

2. How we use information

We use the information to:

• review your application and decide whether we can rent to your company;
• verify your company's identity, operating authority and business standing, and the owner's identity;
• contact you about your application, equipment availability and any rental that follows;
• prepare and administer a rental agreement if your application is approved;
• prevent fraud and protect our equipment, customers and business; and
• comply with legal, tax and regulatory obligations.

3. How we share information

We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it with others for their own marketing. We share it only as needed:

• with service providers who host this website, store our records and deliver our email, who must protect it and may use it only to provide those services to us;
• with the sources we use to verify an application, such as FMCSA records, business credit reporting agencies and insurance providers;
• when required by law, legal process or a government request, or to protect the rights, property or safety of AG or others; and
• with a buyer or successor if our business is sold or reorganized, subject to this policy.

4. Driver's license images

We use the copy of the owner's driver's license only to confirm the owner's identity and eligibility to rent. We do not use it to create or collect biometric identifiers, such as a scan of face geometry.

5. How long we keep information

If your application leads to a rental, we keep the information for as long as the business relationship lasts and afterwards for as long as the law requires, for example for tax and accounting records. If it does not, we keep it only as long as we reasonably need it for the purposes above, and then delete it.

6. How we protect information

Information you submit is encrypted in transit, and access to applications and documents is limited to the staff who need it for their work. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

7. Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you, subject to the records we must keep by law. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it.

8. Children

Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Changes apply to information collected after they are posted.
